Building on Grid Forensic Accounting’s leadership foundation is its Business Manager, Kyle McCauley, who qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of South Africa. Kyle has combined his background in accounting and comprehension of numbers to position himself in the field of financial forensics. Over the course of his career, he has gained experience as an actuarial analyst and found himself in leadership positions driving business development. Kyle’s interests are in the areas of leadership and group dynamics, focusing particularly on building a team that will develop Grid Forensic Accounting as the leader in simplifying financial forensic solutions.
Head Forensic Accountant
Kyle received an Honours degree in Accounting Science at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2011, and became a chartered accountant shortly thereafter. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and is also a registered tax practitioner with SARS. Upon qualifying as a chartered accountant, Kyle was promoted to Junior Partner at the firm where he was working at the time. During the following seven years, he gained experience in auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Enterprises, financial accounting, tax, and performing company valuations. Kyle thoroughly enjoys assisting individuals and companies with tax advice.
David van Coller
Head Forensic Accountant
David van Coller qualified in 1989 as a chartered accountant and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. During his 25-year career in forensic investigations, David has gained valuable experience and knowledge of fraud and commercial crimes, including the analysis of complex financial transactions, investigations of misstatements in financial statements, and investigations on behalf of the South African Reserve Bank into alleged contraventions of the Banks Act (Act No 94 of 1990). David’s interests are in the areas of forensic investigation and dispute advisory services.
Operations Manager and Senior Forensic Accountant
Elzaan Grabie qualified with a BCom Honours degree in Forensic Accountancy from the North-West University in Potchefstroom. She is also a member of the Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners. Over the course of her career, Elzaan has gained extensive experience in the fields of forensic accounting, forensic investigations, compliance and data analytics. She has worked in, among others, the public, manufacturing, mining, catering, security, transport and steel sectors.
